In the galley, Corian countertops (with color options), a refrigerator/freezer stainless steel drawer unit, microwave, utensil drawers, and organized under-counter storage make meal preparation effortless. A seamless Corian or under-mount stainless steel sink with a matching filler insert and a hidden trash bin keep the space sleek and practical. Both galley and head feature Corian surfaces, adding a touch of modern elegance. The atmosphere is enhanced by dimmable overhead and under-gunnel LED lighting, creating warmth for evenings at anchor. A customizable starboard-side layout and the option for a bulkhead-mounted TV/mirror combination allow owners to tailor the space to their lifestyle. Galley
The galley aboard the Island Packet 349 blends a practical U-shaped design with elegant finishes for comfort at sea or anchor. Solid acrylic countertops with integral fiddles provide durability and security underway, while a deluxe three-burner Force 10® LPG stove with oven and broiler, stainless steel sealed burners, guard rail with harness hooks, and lift-off cover make meal preparation safe and efficient. A Vitrofrigo® refrigerator/freezer, microwave, deep stainless steel or Corian sinks, and retractable spray unit complement generous storage with cutlery drawers, dish rack, and a concealed waste receptacle. Fresh water is refined by a dedicated SeaGull® IV filtration system, ensuring pure drinking water at the sink. Natural light and ventilation flow through numerous stainless steel opening ports with safety glass and screens, as well as overhead hatches with retractable shades. Rich sapele hardwoods, louvered doors, cedar-lined lockers, and satin-gloss finishes showcase Island Packet’s hallmark craftsmanship. Warm LED lighting — from chrome-plated cabin-side fixtures to recessed overheads, indirect perimeter ambiance lights, and courtesy lighting at key areas — creates an inviting atmosphere while enhancing visibility and efficiency throughout the galley and salon.
