The IP320 is introduced replacing the IP29, of which 64 were built. We make a national TV appearance, with the IP45 being chosen for the "starring role" in the PBS series "Boatworks", hosted by Robert Urich. The first all-IP ocean rally, the "Bermuda High", sees 11 Packets sail from Hampton Roads, VA to Bermuda. IP’s win every trophy.
